Disabled anglers

Two anglers with a bagful of fishI make every effort to tailor our courses to suit those with disabilities and the fishery we use for our basic training has a number of swims specifically built for wheelchair access.

I realise there is as much for me to learn in this area as I have to teach. My lack of experience is no reason for the less able bodied to be excluded from the sport and I will try very hard to ensure that no-one who wants to learn is excluded for any reason.

Terry Moseley runs the excellent British Disabled Angling Association (BDAA) website which has many helpful tips and resources for the disabled angler, both beginner and advanced.
