About Lee Blundell
My name is Lee Blundell, I am 35 years old and live in Aldershot. I started fishing at the age of 4, sea fishing with my father, but switched to coarse fishing at the tender age of 5. I fished the local canal and gravel pits and became a member of the Farnham Angling Society when I was 12.
I have been a PAA (Professional Anglers Association) qualified fishing coach since October 2003. I am licensed to coach by fishcoach.org which was set up by Sport England. I am also a member of Sports Coach UK. I have been checked by the Criminal records bureau, have attended a Good Practice in Child Protection Course and hold public liability and personal accident insurance for the purpose of coaching angling. I also hold a valid First Aid Certificate.
I hope to soon attend the disability awareness course run by the British Disabled Angling Association as I would like to develop my coaching skills for the angler with disabilities.
I have worked for Surrey Heath Council on their Action Holidays Scheme teaching 8-16 year olds. I've also worked on numerous public events for the PAA, including running a 3 day event at Lee Valley Park in the summer of 2005.
Since 2003 I've regularly worked with Martin in providing fishing courses to children in the care of Slough and Reading borough councils. I've also worked with Portsmouth and Southampton Youth Offenders Team, again providing fishing courses for disadvantaged children.
If you would like to talk to me about this, feel free to visit my website. You can also reach me on the mobile, 07714 552521.
I enjoy all sorts of fishing but my favourite day out would be float fishing on the River Avon.
I have one son, Ben.
